Yorkshire Junior Team Championship.
As a result of winning the league in 2022 Woodsome Hall will represent the HHDUGC in the Yorkshire Junior Team Championship which will take place on Sunday 9th July 2023 at Woodsome Hall Golf Club.
We will be represented by 3 juniors; Ruby McLellan, Alex Lomas-Brooke and Declan Leslie. The format is the best 2 rounds count towards the team score. The winning team progress to the English final at Woodhall Spa.
Update - We are the Champions!
All 8 Yorkshire Unions entered a team of 3 playing off handicaps stableford scoring and best 2 scores in each team to count for the overall result.
All 3 of our players finished in the top 5 overall with Ruby Mclellan (34 points) and Junior Captain Declan Leslie (34points ) counting for us.Alex Lomas-Brooke also carded a great 32 points. This meant that the Junior team came first with 68 points - 3 points ahead of the runners up.

The Junior Team now progress to represent Yorkshire in the National Junior Team Championship to be held at Woodhall Spa GC on August 15th/16th/17th.
This is a quite magnificent achievement and demonstrates the talent we have at junior level.
